These 18" x 22" cotton towels are a great match to our cabinet knobs, complement to our basketry doors, and add handmade character to any home.
They feature "distressed" bird, fish, and jaguar imagery found on ancient Indigenous petroglyphs (stone carvings) across the Rupununi region of Guyana. Each towel has its own unique design due to being individually completed through a screen printing process.
They were made in partnership with Selah Textiles, a St. Louis-based social enterprise that uplifts foreign-born and under-resourced populations. Proceeds from purchased textiles support tutoring programs for the children of these communities. Learn more at SelahTextiles.org.
